Bruce L. Marcus, Esq., and Robert C. Bruce L. Marcus, Esq., and Robert C. Bonsib, Esq., are active in judicial and bar association committees and are frequently sought out as presenters at continuing legal education programs. Mr. Marcus has been appointed by the Maryland Court of Appeals to both its Character Committee and Rules Committee. Bruce L. Marcus, Esq., was appointed by the president of the Maryland Senate to serve as chair of the Maryland Committee to Study Campaign Finance Law. Robert C. Bonsib, Esq., has been appointed to the Maryland Criminal Pattern Jury Instructions Committee and has been appointed by the governor to serve on the Prince George’s County Trial Courts Nominating Commission, which recommends judicial applicants for Circuit and District Court to the governor. Mr. Bonsib has also repeatedly been appointed by the United States District Court to serve on its United States Magistrate Selection Committee. Both Mr. Marcus and Mr. Bonsib are permanent members of the Judicial Conference of the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit.
